All Year Round Berthing

At Windermere Quays we are justifiably proud to point out a special feature that ensures our pontoons and moorings are available for you, our berth holders, to use all year round. We have a natural windbreak in the form of Belle Isle, which over the years has given protection throughout even the most ferocious weather.

At Windermere Quays we use the world renowned 'Walcon Pontoon System' which provides protection against flooding of the jetties as the floating nature of the jetty itself accommodates the ever-changing levels of Lake Windermere.

This is in contrast to many of the other Marina Jetties and Moorings on Lake Windermere. To illustrate this  feature we have shown below a number of pictures demonstrating the contrast between Windermere Quays Marina and some other unamed Marinas on Lake Windermere
